You will be kitted out with crime scene suits and shown a variation of crucial techniques used when investigating real life crime scenes. You will then be tasked with leading the investigation into the crime. From lifting fingerprints and casting footprints to interviewing witnesses and communicating with your team via radio, this experience is sure to give you a real insight into the life of a crime scene investigator. But that is not all, as this all day experience is designed so that you can get your hands dirty. You will be taught how to dig deeper into the evidence behind a criminal investigation with a hands on introduction to toxicology, DNA analysis, and fibre burning. Learn how to determine the time and cause of a death, how to prepare DNA slides to analyse under a microscope, and how to interpret blood spatters. You will even get the chance to bash a blood spatter head to reconstruct a pattern of your own.
